Bourkey’s Fin-tastic Fete 2025

It’s the Fete with a Porpoise — and we mean that literally. This year’s Bourkey’s Fin-tastic Fete isn’t just about fun (although there’ll be plenty of that) — it’s fundraising with purpose. Or rather, purposes, as the beloved community event aims to raise much-needed funds to support the students, programs, and facilities of Bourke Street Public School.

Set to take place on Saturday, November 9, 2026, from 10am to 3pm, the Fete promises an unforgettable day of family-friendly entertainment, food, games and community connection — with free entry for all.

🕙 Time: 10am – 3pm

Event highlights include:
– Live performances by Red Hot Chilli Parents & the Bourke Street School Choir
– Rides, games & Sideshow Alley (Big Kahuna, Bubble Planet, Disco Room + more)
– Talent Show at 12pm judged by our very own Lord Mayor Clover Moore.
– Big Top Bazaar with local market stalls
– Food & drinks from local legends including JANE, coffee carts, BBQ, fairy floss, and more
– Roving performers, face painting, Surry Hills Fire Brigade, and free bike tune-ups
