Kidz Artworx is a brilliant art studio with a great vibe!

We love encouraging curiosity & creativity through the process of art making.

Established in 2017, Kidz Artworx was the dream of Jane King, Bach.VA, Dip Ed, art educator, with 25 yrs+ experience in the teaching profession.

A place to explore the wonderful world of making art, the joy it delivers & the benefits it brings to people's well being as well as sharing a lifetime of skills, tips & tricks.

All the activities are designed for kids...we all learn best when we are interested.

Our activities are skills based, with an overall emphasis on drawing. Other areas include painting, (acrylic, watercolour, ink) printmaking (relief, etching, collagraph), clay work (sculpture, modelling, pottery) collage & design.

We use art language & incorporate art elements & principles in the set tasks as well as look at contemporary artists & designers for inspiration.

We begin every term with Drawing Challenges. These are kooky stories cooked up with whimsy & silliness & kid's illustrate them with a drawing.

And they love it! Thinking about possibilities, how to solve visual problems, & how other people read their drawings. And they are a great conversation starter😊.

We offer kids art classes during the term, after school including Saturday & School Holiday Workshops.
