Plumtree Preschool is an inclusive community preschool located within Plumtree Children’s Services (Jarvie Park, Yabsley Avenue, Marrickville). From July 2016 the preschool will be open 5 days/week with the addition of a Monday/Tuesday program.
Plumtree Preschool is a small 20 place preschool for children 3 years to school age. Plumtree has great staff-to-child ratios (1:5). The high staff ratio and play-based curriculum ensure all children’s individual learning and social needs are catered for and build upon each child’s love of learning. Being attached to Plumtree Children’s Services the preschool utilises the expertise of the multidisciplinary team to further support all children. The spacious environment gives the children opportunity to explore and challenge themselves throughout their play while learning to work with their peers.
