Having a child is an exciting and emotional time for many couples but it can also be a great test for even the strongest of relationships. The time and attention that you once had for each other is taken up with caring for the kids, the housework, cooking, working โ the list goes on. Often, there is little time or energy to give attention back to each other. Over time, this can cause fractures in a relationship and develop into larger issues if not addressed.
Our guest speaker will be Liz Neal from Elizabeth Neal Psychology, a psychologist with expertise in maternal psychology and relationship therapy, and Waratah Karleu, a holistic sex and relationship therapist.
During our information morning Liz and Waratah will share strategies and advice on how to maintain a healthy relationship while adjusting to your new role as a parent. They’ll answer the most common questions that we see coming up in our group, how to discuss an issue with your other half in a productive way and understanding each other’s needs. Morning tea and coffee/tea are included. Get your ticketsย HERE
