🎨 These school holidays, introduce your teens to Art Journalling at Haberfield Library 🎨

Discover diverse techniques for keeping an art journal, while fostering a deeper connection with your creative process. From mixed media collage to free flow writing, learn how to integrate various mediums and techniques. You may like to capture thoughts, emotions, memories, observations, and dreams, or alternatively, explore practical skills and technical media research. Either way, enjoy this supportive workshop where experimentation is encouraged, and individual styles flourish. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or new to the exciting journey of art making, ignite a lifelong passion for self-expression through art journalling.

Suitable for teens and young adults aged 13-24 years.

 

About the Facilitator

Clare Nicholson is an accomplish sculptor and painter working with a great diversity of medium. Clare holds both a PhD and a Master of visual Art Degree in Sculpture. Clare has taught in the sculpture department at UNSW’s School of Art & Design and within remote and rural art high schools.

 

About the venue

HABERFIELD LIBRARY is accessible from street level and has a lift inside the library to access the upper level.
