Explore a fun and unexpected way to design characters — using nature!

By making texture rubbings with leaves, bark and other natural elements, kids of all skill levels will discover how to transform these patterns into imaginative characters full of life and personality. A perfect mix of art, nature and creativity!

Recommended for ages 7 –12.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This event is in addition to our other Family Sunday workshops with Sydney Writers’ Festival!

Join us also for workshops with Jacqueline Harvey and Dan Marshall, or for a FREE family library tour to discover fascinating stories about the building and its collections (10:30am and 12pm from the Mitchell Vestibule).

Separate bookings are required for each Family Sunday workshop.
