Last year, the Inner West Mums community organised a Christmas food-drive, successfully raising enough funds to produce and deliver 100 food hampers for the Asylum Seekers Centre (ASC) – thanks to the hundreds of Inner West Mums that contributed.

Fast-forward to Christmas 2019 and once again, the Inner West Mums community supported the important work of the ASC centre and have raised $4,982 for the ASC foodbank in under two weeks!

The ASC, based in Newtown, provides practical and personal support for 4,000 community-based asylum seekers including 1,000 children. The not-for-profit organisation relies completely on grants, donations and volunteer support.

Thank you to all who joined us to help raise money for this worthy cause, great team effort!

The online fundraiser is still live if you would like to donate. Donate now
