The Sales Support position works in the customer service area, processing quotes through to sales orders, and the initiation of the production process. It is important to build a rapport and relationship with customers and suppliers as customer service is at the heart of what ACME does.
The role manages the process as follows, but not necessarily all functions at all times:
- Enters custom quotes with information from the sales team;
- Converts the quote into an order when approved, and amends as required;
- Confirmation of payment details;
- Enters uniform contract, & wholesale orders from agents, online and direct
- Enters retail e-commerce orders
- Follows through on order fulfilment
- Weekly progress meetings and followup
The role includes working with key staff to co-ordinate and manage merchandise for the uniform programs and customer events as needed.
