PLC Sydney celebrates its 2022 cohort’s HSC performance

PLC Sydney would like to congratulate its Year 12 graduates on their excellent HSC results. The school is proud of each and every one of its 2022 cohort.

This year’s graduates achieved exceptional results across the board, with 50% of PLC Sydney students receiving ATARs in the top 10% of the State and 80% in the top 20% of the State. The highest ATAR received by a PLC Sydney student was 99.85, and 3.3% of PLC Sydney students came in the top 0.5 % of the State. Eleven students made it into the Top Achievers List, earning top 20 places in individual subjects, while 13 students made the Premier’s All Rounder Achievers List, scoring over 90% in their best 10 units.

PLC Sydney consistently ranks in the top independent girls’ schools in Sydney.

Not only were PLC Sydney’s HSC results impressive, but so too were their creative, sporting and personal achievements throughout the year. In 2022, PLC Sydney had 31 nominations and seven selections for the HSC creative and visual art exhibitions and showcases, events that acknowledge their major works and performances as ‘best in the State’. A further five students represented Australia in their respective curricular, co-curricular and sporting areas, while another nine students achieved their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.
