We are Anni and Matthew and we are parents of teenagers!
Odette is 14 and Etienne is 16 and they keep our life full of laughter and late nights. Oh and I also need to mention our fur baby Louie. He’s a beautiful cavoodle and makes our family complete.
Did you know we’ve been photographing people for more than 25 years. Over that time, we’ve seen it all. We’ve photographed couples as they have grown their families, we’ve photographed their children and their children’s children. We’ve designed albums, printed images and delivered family heirlooms, and even after all this time, we’re more in love with our work than when we first started.
So, tell me, when did you last have your photo taken? Have your children grown since the start of the pandemic and does your heart crave to document them at this age? Before they grow some more? We would love to look after you and create some family heirlooms of your own. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
Our goal for our tween photography sessions is to create a collection of fine art portraits that really celebrate your son or daughter’s emergence from childhood into the teen years – it really is such a special time. We want their personality to shine during the session and one way we make sure that happens is through what they wear.
Let your tween choose their outfit and make it something they love, and which really represents who they are becoming.
One piece of advice we have when it comes to this: pick one colour scheme and stick to it. For example, choose pastel colours OR neutrals. Perhaps go with dark colours OR a bright palette. The OR in these options is oh so important and will make sure you receive images that are cohesive and complimentary.
One thing we love to do when it comes to our tween photography sessions is to encourage our clients to bring accessories to the session that highlight their personality.
We’ve had family pets, books, musical instruments, headphones and music, paintbrushes and so much more. Remember, the goal here is to highlight the interests and personality of your tween so nothing is off limits. Get them involved, ask them what they want to have included and let them help to guide the session. That’s the thing with tweens, they know what they like and what they don’t.
Let’s plan a session that really represents their personality – and hey, any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out! We’re here for anything you might need as you prepare for your tween’s photography session.
We are looking for 8-14 Year Olds for our Tween Project
We think it is a great age to capture their character and personality and would love to see some more tweens in front of the camera in our new Leichhardt studio!
We have a limited number of portrait sessions to give away for our tween portraits. We’ll also include $100 credit to say thank you! Total value = $200.
Yes, you will love the portraits and have the option to purchase extra prints after the session but there is absolutely no obligation.
We’re looking for families who:
