The Infants Home has been caring for children and families for more than 150 years. Since 1874 we have championed the rights of children, protecting those at risk and helping to create positive futures.

Today, our three early childhood centres provide high quality care and education in safe and stimulating environments. In the heart of the inner west they are an oasis of calm in beautiful natural surroundings.

All are rated “Exceeding the National Quality Standard” and provide challenging, fun and inspiring play-based learning for children from birth to five.

Our educators focus on quality relationships that support each child to feel safe and secure, and provide a foundation for effective learning, curiosity and creativity.

In addition we have our own team of Allied Health professionals (speech pathologists and occupational therapists) who work closely with our educators, children and families to support each child’s learning, development and participation in the program.
