Dingo Pups Join the Pack at Sydney Zoo

Two adorable dingo pups, aged just 10 weeks old, have joined the pack at the new Sydney Zoo in Western Sydney!

The cheeky pair who arrived last month are making themselves at home and are ready to meet guests in a special, limited-time-only dingo puppy play encounter.

In this brand-new experience, guests will go behind the scenes and play, cuddle and take the ultimate selfie with the puppies.

“Ghost, who is pure white, has a great sense of adventure and a love for chasing keeper’s boots, while Phantom is a little more reserved than his brother and loves bathing his belly in the sun and posing for photos,” said Curator of Australia and zookeeper, Tara Gunter.

Aside from being cute, the puppies play a crucial role in raising awareness for their species. Dingoes are apex predators and help Australia’s ecosystem by maintaining populations of both feral and native species.

A Sydney Zoo dingo puppy encounter makes a memorable family activity and is perfect for families with young children. Young kids will love the playful nature of the cheeky puppies.

Book early to avoid disappointment as only ten lucky people each day will get the chance to meet the puppies during October and November. Don’t miss your chance to play with the puppies before they grow up!
