Description
Create a Memoir Film!
Tell your life story through conversation.
Many people want to record their life story but feel unsure where to start, or feel that writing is too hard. This workshop offers a simple way to create a memoir using conversation and film instead of pages.
Led by award winning TV producer Danika Armytage, founder of Big Stories Little Films, the workshop is based on over 20 years of interviewing people for Australian television and her experience filming her own grandmother’s story.
You’ll learn how to shape a meaningful life story through spoken memories and how to record it at home using just a smartphone.
This workshop is for:
Adults who want to record their life story
People who find writing a memoir difficult
Family members attending together
Anyone who wants to preserve memories for the future
You’ll learn how to:
Create a memoir without writing
Use simple questions to bring out memories
