Showing Up for Older Australians

The Australian Home Funeral Alliance, in conjunction with the Death Literacy Institute and Social Health Australia, is running a workshop called Showing Up for Older Australians: A Community Approach to Building Death Literacy, with a focus on local communities and older Australians, in collaboration with Inner West social enterprise, Funeral Commons.

This free two-day workshop, facilitated by Rebecca Lyons, Olivia Andrews and Danni Petkovic, is for people who want more practical knowledge, confidence and capacity around dying, death, funerals and community care.

> Redefining the idea of a home funeral, including death in nursing homes and hospitals
> How to plan a funeral
> What death care at home can look like
> How to become a death care leader
