Inner West Business Mums’ First Networking Event

On Tuesday 18 June, Inner West Business Mums held the first of an ongoing series of networking events for the local business community.

This free workshop focused on the theme of Marketing and Sales for Local Business. The event featured local business owners Mary-Anne Amies of Wise Up Marketing and Yvonne Hilsz of Yvonne Hilsz Coaching and was attended by 38 local entrepreneurs.

Mary-Anne’s digital marketing agency Wise Up Marketing is dedicated to helping small to medium sized businesses reach their full potential through digital solutions, and she is the mastermind behind Inner West Mums’ website, marketing and branding.

Yvonne Hilsz is a speaker, trainer and coach for female entrepreneurs. Yvonne has coached hundreds of businesses and helped them make breakthroughs and ultimately improved their sales.

Inner West Mums and Inner West Business Mums founder Anita Vitanova said: ‘It was wonderful to see so many long-time members of our business community at this event! I really want these networking events to work as a platform where local Inner West business owners will be able to connect and collaborate for the benefit of their businesses.’

Inner West Business Mum and owner of Milk and Honey Photography, Anni Payne said about the evening: ‘This was such an amazing and generous event … so impressive and inspiring!’

Many thanks to the generous businesses that supplied their products and services for the evening. The event was held at Balmain Sailing Club’s recently renovated space with stunning harbour views. Delicious pizzas were provided by Pizza and Co. Liz Wellman of Cake That by Liz provided beautiful cupcakes. Some excellent wines were donated by Hunter Valley winemaker Scarborough Wines. And the talented Fancy Boy Photography and Ascend Studios took the photographs and captured the video footage of the evening.
