Position Overview
Drive IQ has an exciting opportunity for a passionate results-driven Finance Manager. This position is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the company & operates in a changing project-based business environment where, maintaining motivation, momentum & quality is essential.
Responsibilities
Management of financial reporting (both statutory & management) & improving the systems, controls and processes.
Accounts payable/receivable
Reconciling between company’s system & accounting software.
Preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Month-end reconciliations, close processes, including general ledger reviews, WIP analysis & budget to actual variance analysis
Manage preparation of company’s tax compliance obligations, Income Tax, GST, FBT & Payroll Tax.
Assisting external accountants for preparation of annual accounts & income tax return.
Skills and qualifications
Xero certified & experienced with multiple entities.
Qualifications & member of Institute of CAANZ or CPA Australia
Knowledge & understanding of accounting principles, legislation & standards
Understands Income Tax, GST, FBT, Payroll Tax and Statutory reporting requirements
Experience with Financial Management & ERP Systems
Ability to prepare, analyse & evaluate financial information
