🌟 Brick Works Exhibit and Playzone, 15-17 August

Got kids or kidults at home who love to stack, snap, and create? Don’t miss this three-day brickwork and play zone with larger than life displays and interactive play areas filled with 100% LEGO® bricks. Step into a playground of pure imagination whilst watching award-winning Australian brick artist and photographer, Kale Frost, build a custom masterpiece of Eveleigh’s iconic locomotive workshop.

🌟 Byte Wise – A Questacon Exhibition, 7-10 August

Experience 24 mind-boggling pod exhibits that will ignite your imagination and curiosity, boost confidence, and deepen your understanding of computational thinking in everyday life.

🌟 Silent Cinema, every Saturday in August

Pop next door to Eveleigh Works for South Eveleigh’s first silent cinema series. Drop off the kids at 5.30pm for a kids-only film – professional child-minders included so you and your significant other can explore South Eveleigh sans kids (cheeky wine anyone?). Tickets are $30 per child and include a BrewDog meal deal box of chicken nuggets and chips, popcorn and juice. Or drop into the free 8pm session for a family-friendly film night with headphones and bean bag. Bookings are essential via South Eveleigh’s website.

For the animal lovers

🌟 Pooch Portraits, Sundays

Want a portrait of your fur baby? Grab your furry friend and head to BrewDog on Sundays for a ‘Pooch Portrait’ session and complimentary portrait of your pooch. Rex hates sitting still? Hit up the photo cartoonist or the In An Instant Photo Booth to capture a quick but precious snap of your BFF – best furry friend.

🌟 Puppy Playtime, 28 August

If a litter of puppies jumping all over you sounds like pure joy, mark 28 August in your diaries for a Puppy Playtime session at South Eveleigh’s Interchange Pavilion on Central Avenue. Get in early to avoid missing out on puppy cuddles.

Sneakers & Scooters

🌟 PUSHAS, 23-25 August

Love your kicks? Don’t miss PUSHAS, Australia’s premier sneaker and streetwear reseller marketplace for the hottest, hard-to-find sneakers and streetwear. Explore rare sneaker collections, nab a free cleaning session, enter a comp and enjoy the DJ entertainment.

🌟 Bikes and E-bikes

Cyclists rejoice! Get all your bike and e-bike questions answered at a Bike Pop Up with Ben Bucklers Boards every Tuesday in August from 11am-2pm. Plus, get a complete safety check, bike tips and safety demos. Need to get your bike fixed? The Rolling Fix’s Tune Up Station will also be onsite on 13 & 27 August, from 7.30-10.30am providing access to a bike technician for on-site safety checks and servicing.

Inspiring Talks

🌟 South Eveleigh Rooftop Garden, every Tuesday in August, 12-1pm

Head to South Eveleigh Rooftop Garden as Cuppa.tv’s Luke Cook hosts inspirational speakers and delves into transformative stories from local heroes, including Yasmin London, a communications powerhouse who empowers people by equipping them with the skills and knowledge to ensure technology enhances their modern day lives, rather than detracting from it. Nik Robinson, who with his son Harry turned single use-plastic into sunglasses, along with Rob Caslick, founder of Two Good Co, a social enterprise that supports women who have experienced domestic violence, giving them pathways to employment.
