Artspark Studio
Artspark Studio is a sun-filled Art and Sewing school located in the middle of Rozelle. Along with art and sewing activities, children will have the opportunity to care for our resident guinea pigs. Our eco-friendly garden is a perfect place to relax, play and source materials for projects. Students will also learn to share the space with animals.
These school holidays, there’s terracotta bowl making, Halloween house, Miniature Landscape, beautiful lantern making and much more.

Jurassic World: The Exhibition
The huge global sensation Jurassic World: The Exhibition is roaring into Sydney on 22 September, just in time for the school holidays. An exciting and immersive experience, it’s the perfect activity the whole family can enjoy.
Jurassic World: The Exhibition will be presented starting Friday, 22 September2023 for a limited time at the newly reimagined 3,000 sqm Super Luna Pavilion, Sydney Showground at Sydney Olympic Park.
Cost: Admission to Jurassic World: The Exhibition starts at $39 for children (ages three and up) and$49 for adults (ages 16 and up). Family and group tickets are also available as well as special pricing for senior citizens and students.

PLC Sydney Futures Centre
Upcoming Holiday programs 03-06 October 2023
Target students: Junior and Senior Students and High Potential & Gifted Primary Students
We are very excited to share that PLC Sydney Futures Centre will be running several courses for junior and senior students in the last week of the October holidays (Tuesday, 03 October to Friday, 06 October 2023). Our holiday programs are open to boys and girls across various Year Groups from any school.
The Junior and High Potential and Gifted Students holiday programs are designed to stimulate and excite young learners. The programs allow students to extend themselves outside of the core offering provided at most schools while also having fun during their holidays.
The English and Mathematics workshops will give Senior students the opportunity to solidify their knowledge of techniques to assist in mastering exams.
There is a strong focus on preparation for the upcoming HSC examinations, and students will have one last opportunity to sit a Mock exam, which will simulate the conditions expected in the HSC exams.

Sydney Youth Orchestra
SYO is heading to Sutherland’s beautiful new home of performing arts, The Pavilion for the Play! Kids Festival. Join us in Sutherland for our Meet the Orchestra Concert + Workshop.
A perfect introduction to orchestral music for families and children; this interactive performance includes snippets of core orchestral repertoire and explores the different instrumental families. You may get a chance to conduct the orchestra!
On stage with SYO will be young local musicians selected to work with the SYO for this interaactive performance. Repertoire includes Jean Sibelius, Dimitri Shostakovich, Gustav Holst and Christopher Tin.
Children are encouraged to join in. Stomp your feet, clap your hands and lets Play!
Workshop
40 local musicians can be part of the concert! If chosen, you’ll attend a 3-hour workshop and perform in the afternoon’s concert on stage.
Complete the application form and if you’re successful, you’ll be sent music parts to practice before the big day.
Cost to workshop participants is $40. Age range 8 – 18 years*
*Workshop musicians need to be approximately AMEB 4th grade or equivalent.
