Some Sundays ask a lot of us.

Going with little kids? Aim early and pair lunch with a nearby playground, park or walk so they can burn off steam before dessert negotiations begin.

Got tweens or teens? Add a little bait to the outing: a city wander, bookstore stop, beach walk or hot chocolate. The roast might be the headline act, but the side quest is often what gets everyone out the door.
