Where to get Santa photos in Sydney 2022
Well, it’s out with the Halloween pumpkins and in with the stockings, snowflakes and yuletide cheer. Christmas is only 7.5 weeks away!
And right on cue, the Inner West Mums’ inbox is starting to ding with news of the different Santa photos on offer this year.

The Grounds
This one booked out early last year, so get in quick! The theme for this year’s set is ‘a traditional white Christmas’ just like in the movies. Sounds magical!

Santa in the Garden
Santa set amongst the gum trees in the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden. This one is truly unique but also a bit of a trek for us inner westies – about 45 minutes drive. A member of the IWM team had her family’s Santa photos taken here last year and despite the torrential rain was happy with both the experience and the end-result. Could be a good spot for a picnic and explore either side of the photos, weather depending.
When: November 12 – December 17, Saturday and Sunday sessions only.

QVB High Tea with Santa
A Christmas themed high tea in the beautiful surrounds of the QVB Tearooms is a memory making experience the kids are unlikely to forget. The preschooler daughter of a member of the Inner West Mums team went last year and still talks about it. It’s so special.
When: November 20 to December 24. Sensory sessions are running November 11-19, plus some dates in December.
Where: The Tea Room at the Queen Victoria Building
Cost: $65 per person. Take your own photos or use the services of the on-site photographer. Two digital images are included in the price.

Santa at the Summit … of the Harbour Bridge!
This is a truly unique Santa photo experience. Book in for a Bridge Climb and get a photo with Santa at the top. If you’ve got older kids, this might be a way to convince them to pose for a Santa photo one last time! Sounds like an amazing family experience too.
When: Every Sunday morning from November 6 to December 18

Broadway Shopping Centre
‘Santa’s starry night’ is the theme for this year’s set – and the centre’s festive decorations – with Santa seated in a hot air balloon, with ‘cloud seats’ for the kids either side. Sensory sessions are being held too.

Marrickville Metro
Santa will be seated on a throne outside Panetta Mercato on the ground floor of the new building. Sensitive Santa sessions are running from December 3-17.

Leichhardt Marketplace
As well as their usual family sessions – which have been popular with Inner West Mums members in the past – Leichhardt Marketplace is hosting sensory Santa sessions for the first time this year. These are currently available Dec 2 – 4.

Christmas sessions in a studio
Inner West Mums’ member Noemie Vonthron is holding Christmas portrait sessions in her Gladesville studio. The family (fur kids are welcome to attend on certain days) pose for the photos in her festively decorated studio, with Santa creatively added by Noemie later in post-production. See photo at top of page for an example.

Santa by the beach
Another Inner West Mums’ member El Earl is holding beach/surf themed photography sessions with Santa.

Breakfast with Santa at David Jones
A breakfast with Santa will be held every Saturday at the David Jones Elizabeth Street store. Includes a welcome from Santa, activities for the kids, breakfast and a goodie bag.

Revesby Workers Club
This has come highly recommended by IWM members in previous years. Quieter, sensory sessions can be booked too. Plus an outdoor Santa set will be located outside the Brett Street Foyer for fur-kid photos.

Top Ryde City
This is another popular one with IWM members, with one parent sharing last year that Santa even remembered her child’s name from the year before. How lovely is that! Sensory Santa sessions can be booked too.
