From baking to soccer, art to gymnastics, the Inner West Mums’ 2022 Winter School Holiday Activity Guide is packed with fun and educational holiday programs in and around Sydney’s inner west. AcroPals

AcroPals winter school holiday workshops! Now with separate Junior Days (kindergarten – 9 years) in Marrickville and Senior Days (9 years – 16 years) in St Peters.
Themes include: circus, ninja, acro-balance and tumbling. All levels and abilities are welcome all days. Every day we teach basic acrobatic and tumbling skills to advanced level tricks, as well as the theme skills of the day, like juggling, hoop twirling, butterfly kicks, acro-yoga, sports acrobatics, human pyramids and tumbling skills. Kids are separated into groups based on their level and friends in attendance, and every child should walk away with some new tricks! There’s a craft activity every day including ceramic painting, ninja headbands, slime and jewellery making.

Artspark Studio

Spark your creativity and channel your imagination with art and sewing workshops! Discover and enjoy the wonders of mini-farming and gardening at our organic mini-farm and permaculture garden.

Artspark Studio is a sun-filled studio in Rozelle. We offer classes and workshops to support and enrich children’s learning through in-depth, short-term and long-term project works. Projects follow the interests of the children and add new insights and build skills. It may seem like fun and games – and it is – but children are learning a lot through exploring creative activities. Our mini-farming and permaculture gardening projects in an urban area are an opportunity not to be missed. Bush Balance

Come and join us for nature play outdoors. We provide tools, ropes, buckets, paints and magnifying glasses. The children provide imagination, questions and games. The environment add sticks, rocks, dirt, bugs, leaves, trees and birds. It all adds up to a wonderful morning of nature play together.

Calling all Junior Pastry Chefs! Kids are introduced to the art of baking sweet and savoury pies. Children will be baking Apple Crumble and Garden Vegetable Pies.

Example schedule:

Flying Yogis

Flying Yogis winter holiday programs are a unique blend of: yoga, gymnastics, acrobatics, dance, ninja skills, outdoor picnics, inspirational art projects and fun. They run daily 9am to 3pm, Monday July 4 – Tuesday July 19, 2022 (there is aftercare 8.30am- 5.30pm for $30 per day). We run two groups: 5-8 years old (years K-2, 2022) and 9-13 years (years 3-6, 2022). Simply book your child into the correct age group. Please note: our programs are workshops style and aren’t suitable for kids still at preschool. We always offer 5 days for the price of 4 (can be used between siblings). And we take Creative Kids Vouchers.
