HO! HO! HO!: Call Santa and his festive friends for FREE!

This December, you can connect your kids to Santa’s workshop for a Christmas chat with Santa, Mrs Claus or Santa’s top Elf for FREE!

It’s as simple as dialling #HO HO HO (#46 46 46) on the keypad of any of Telstra’s almost 15,000 payphones across the country to reach Santa’s switchboard. Aussie kids can then press 1 for Santa, 2 for Mrs Claus, or 3 for Santa’s elf.

Not only is this an enjoyable festive activity, it can also teach children how to locate and operate a payphone, so they know how to contact a parent or caregiver – or emergency service – at any time.

You can find your nearest payphone using Telstra’s payphone finder. Last year Telstra made payhones around Australia free for domestic calls, and they want to encourage Australians to get out there and use them!

And in keeping with the Christmas spirit, Telstra will be making a $1 donation to the Salvation Army for every call made to Santa’s workshop from 5–24 December. The donations will help the Salvos support some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
