On 18 August 2026, Inner West Mums Business Network proudly hosted 50 incredible businesswomen at Capriccio Osteria for an inspiring evening of collaboration, connection, and growth.

We were delighted to welcome our special guest speaker, Michelle May from Michelle May Buyers Agents, for an engaging Q&A session. Michelle shared her business journey, including what inspired her to start her business, the lessons she has learned along the way, and what she would do differently if she had the opportunity to start again. She also spoke about her biggest business inspirations, balancing entrepreneurship while raising children, and the most common mistakes she sees buyers make in today’s property market. Her insights were both inspiring and practical, leaving our guests with valuable takeaways.

We also heard from Julie from 1st Choice Insurance Brokers, who presented an informative session on the importance of business insurance. Julie explained the different types of insurance business owners should consider and how the right coverage can help protect their business, assets, and future success.
