Desserts to your door: sweet treat deliveries in the inner west

There’s something quite magical about a box of sweet treats being dropped at the doorway. Especially in lockdown, when meals are taking on greater significance, as a chance to transport, delight and excite.

For the first time ever there’s gelato in my freezer, much to the excitement of my two small children. I’ve had doughnuts delivered to a friend’s daughter in lockdown for her 16^th birthday. And sent a care package to my mum with tea, a book and…chocolate, a hug in a box while we are apart.
