This October, step up and Step Out to take part in Step Out for Cancer 2026.

When: Sunday 11 October 2026, 9am - 12.30pm
Where: Allianz Stadium, the Sydney Cricket Ground, Centennial Parklands and Royal Randwick Racecourse

Set across some of Sydney’s most iconic sporting venues, with exclusive access to Allianz Stadium, the Sydney Cricket Ground, and Royal Randwick Racecourse – grab some friends, or your family and get set to enjoy a great day out for a worthy cause.

Walk, or run, then follow up your fitness-fuelled fun with live music, food trucks and entertainment at the finish line festival!

WALK: 6km through Allianz Stadium & Sydney Cricket Ground, across to Royal Randwick Racecourse

RUN: 5km or 10km looped track at Royal Randwick Racecourse, or take on the NEW Challenge Run - a 2-hour timed challenge for individuals and teams.

CELEBRATE: Come together post walk or run at the finish line festival to celebrate with live music, food trucks, family friendly activities, brand activations and more at the Theatre of the Horse, Royal Randwick Racecourse.

Interact with Sydney’s biggest sports teams on the day including the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Sydney Sixers, Sydney FC Foundation and the GWS Giants - plus enjoy DJs, giveaways and surprise moments throughout the day.

Funds raised from Step Out for Cancer will go directly to the new Minderoo Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre (MCCCC) in Randwick where researchers and clinicians work side-by-side to accelerate lifesaving discoveries for children facing cancer.
