If your idea of a perfect Valentine’s Day now involves picnic rugs, snack negotiations and at least one emergency ice block, we’ve got excellent news. Inner West Kids Fest is back — and it’s shaping up to be the summer afternoon your calendar’s been waiting for.
On Saturday 14 February, Enmore Park transforms into a buzzing mini festival from 3pm–7pm, packed with music, movement, creativity and that unmistakable Inner West community vibe. Think: live kids’ music you’ll actually enjoy, hands-on activities that don’t involve screens, and enough entertainment to keep everyone happy until bedtime (yes, even that child).

Vegetable Plot (3:10pm)
ARIA-nominated, pun-loving, funky-fresh legends. Kids adore them. Parents quietly Shazam them.

Inner West Aquatics Kids Dance (3:50pm)
A sneak peek of their school holiday dance program — high energy, big smiles, low pressure.

Ryka Ali (4:10pm)
Powerful storytelling, culture and music from a proud Indigenous youth ambassador with global experience.

The Lex Man (5:10pm)
Games, laughs and peak party energy in human form.

Orbit Science Show (5:50pm)
Interactive STEM fun that makes science feel like magic (without the mess at home).

TG5 (6:10pm)
Australia’s newest kids’ entertainment group bringing dance-floor vibes, confidence-boosting messages and serious end-of-day energy.

Between sets, the park is bursting with things to explore:
Add food stalls, giveaways, plenty of shade and that golden-hour summer glow, and you’ve got an afternoon that feels equal parts festival and neighbourhood hang.
