Inner West Kids Fest 2026

Inner West Kids Fest 2026: your Valentine’s Day plans just got very, very family-friendly 💛

If your idea of a perfect Valentine’s Day now involves picnic rugs, snack negotiations and at least one emergency ice block, we’ve got excellent news. Inner West Kids Fest is back — and it’s shaping up to be the summer afternoon your calendar’s been waiting for.

On Saturday 14 February, Enmore Park transforms into a buzzing mini festival from 3pm–7pm, packed with music, movement, creativity and that unmistakable Inner West community vibe. Think: live kids’ music you’ll actually enjoy, hands-on activities that don’t involve screens, and enough entertainment to keep everyone happy until bedtime (yes, even that child).

Around the park:

Between sets, the park is bursting with things to explore:

  • Hug-a-Bug for brave little explorers who want to paint and interact with friendly critters
  • Professor Peabody Puppets with a classic Punch and Judy show
  • Kids Circus featuring stilt walkers and dazzling performances
  • AFLW inflatable ball game (with free tickets and a season membership up for grabs 👀)
  • Australian Martial Arts Academy demos for tiny ninjas-to-be
  • Waste Busters helping kids (and adults) feel smug about recycling correctly
  • Magic Yellow Bus for under-6s with free play and early learning activities
  • Paint Inner West REaD storytime with mascot Garranga Bumarri and pre-loved books to take home
  • Inner West Council Children’s Services with bubbles, chats and temporary tattoos (yes please)

Add food stalls, giveaways, plenty of shade and that golden-hour summer glow, and you’ve got an afternoon that feels equal parts festival and neighbourhood hang.
