Artspark is a sun-filled art and sewing studio, located in the middle of Rozelle. Our eco-friendly garden has many edible
plants, and is home to three chickens and two guinea pigs. It’s a perfect place to relax, play, and source materials for projects. The garden also gives students the opportunity to tend to plants, and learn how to associate with animals in kind ways. Bush Balance is an outdoor play session for young children and their carers. We offer unstructured play opportunities to help children connect to their natural environment. This term we are taking our inspiration from the Oriental Art Movements. Students will take a look at Chinese vases, Hokusai’s Great Wave, watercolour painting on Chinese fans, the Terracotta Army and even anime drawing!
We will explore a variety of artists and fine art techniques including, observation, design, composition, drawing, painting (with various mediums), printing, collage and sculpture.
Students receive a visual art diary and all art materials, tuition and morning or afternoon tea is included. We also offer a walk from school service from St Mark’s and Drummoyne Public.
