One of our favourite discoveries this month was Burnum Burnum Sanctuary, a beautiful waterfront destination that offers plenty of space for families to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Located along the river, this family-friendly park features walking paths, picnic tables, BBQ facilities and stunning water views. While exploring, we even met a lovely local mum and her two boys who were enjoying a morning by the water. The kids loved watching the ducks wandering through the park, while we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and scenic views.

With the rising cost of living, many families are seeking entertainment options that offer great value. That’s why sporting events remain one of our favourite family outings.Whether it’s rugby league, football or other local sporting events, there’s something special about cheering on your team together. The kids can make noise, get excited and burn off energy, while parents enjoy a fun and affordable day out.We also love supporting both women and men in sport and showing our children the importance of community participation and active lifestyles.
