Art and wine have much in common – so much so – that the exceptionally clever minds at Pinot & Picasso have combined them and have studios throughout Australia. And the even better news? They have recently opened right here in the Inner West!
Pinot & Picasso is Australia’s premier paint and sip experience. Once booked, you turn up with your wine and nibbles, whilst Pinot & Picasso will provide you with everything you need – seating, easel, paint, paint brushes and a canvas – so that you can create a work of art (remember: art is subjective!). Worried about your about a lack of artistry? Fear not! Each session is hosted by an artist who will give you step-by-step instruction on how to create your artwork.
Some of the Inner West Mums team recently attended a session at the newly opened Pinot & Picasso – located in Balmain – where we had a fantastic three hours of painting Lake Tekapo, drinking bubbles and painting! And it truly was a wonderful way to spend time with friends and have fun!
The Lake Tekapo session was really well-paced and easy to follow for those who are not artistically inclined, so we didn’t feel too rushed, having time to relax and chat in between mixing colours and sipping wine. Although it’s a guided session, there was still plenty of room left for your creativity to run wild and do your own thing. So go on, get your squad together and embrace your inner Pinot! (I mean Picasso!)
