The Cabramatta Moon Festival returns on Sunday 8 September, with an enticing packed program of family-friendly activities, entertainment and culinary delights.
From 9 am to 8 pm, Cabramatta’s streets will come alive with market stalls, musical and dance performances and of course great food.
The action will take place around Freedom Plaza and Pailau gates. Stalls will open from 9 am, and entertainment will commence from 11am. The traditional lion dance will herald the start of the celebrations.
For delicious food and refreshments, check out the District 8 dining precinct, at the corner of Cabramatta Road West and John Street.
Favourite children’s character Hello Kitty and her best friends will perform songs and dance at 12 pm and 2 pm. There will also be a meet and greet for young fans.
Activities will include a children’s chopstick challenge, noodle and moon cake eating competitions.
K-Pop icons Andy Trieu, host of SBS PopAsia, and ZE:A idol Kevin Kim will wow the crowds on the main stage from 6 pm. K-Pop dance team Harmony, DanceKool featuring Niramsin, and rising stars Kookies N Kream will also make spectacular appearances.
The festival will close with a stunning fireworks display at 8 pm.
