Inner west Christmas markets 2021

If you’re keen to shop local this Christmas – for gifts or a festive feast – there are some great markets coming up in the inner west which might fit the bill.

Clay Sydney Ceramics Market
What: Showcasing the work of local artists and designers plus food, live music, flowers and coffee.
When: Saturday December 11, 10am – 3pm

Maker’s Market at Marrickville Metro
What: Products from local artisans, curated by Hypmotive. Includes: home decor, fashion, jewellery, lifestyle products and art.
When: Saturday December 11 from 9am – 5.30pm and Sunday December 12 from 10am – 4pm
Where: Marrickville Metro, 20 Smidmore Street, Marrickville. The markets will be located on the ground floor of the new buidling.

Maker’s Frontyard Trail
What: This grassroots inner west event will see six front yards transformed into mini-markets, showcasing the wares of 12 local artists and producers.

Chai Walli Christmas Warehouse Market
What: Chai Walli’s annual warehouse sale for lovers of chai, spices and tea. There’ll be a chai bar on-site too.

Artisan’s Market Glebe
What: Pick up some unique Christmas gifts made by local artisans. There’s a great little playground (and toilets!) in the park, and Sonoma across the road for coffee and snacks.

What: The popular Flour Mill Markets are returning for their annual Christmas markets. Pick up some sweet treats, Christmas decorations, clothes and more.

Twilight Christmas Market at Carriageworks
What: The popular farmers’ market at Carriageworks is hosting its annual Christmas market (pictured at top, image by: Cassandra Hannagan) with fresh produce, flowers and gifts for sale. Plus festive cocktails and food to eat on-site.
