What’s on at The Grounds this Christmas
This Christmas, are partnering with Disney to bring Frozen 2 to life at The Grounds!
They’ve been inspired by the movie and created The Enchanted Forest and The Crystal Lane, with photo opportunities at every corner. There are also lots of yummy Frozen 2 inspired treats for you to enjoy, so make sure you come and explore before it all melts away!
Christmas events at The Grounds
Santa photos
There is truly something for everyone this Christmas at The Grounds, with your choice of our masterclasses, an annual Santa photo or a fun-filled family night.
Santa will be calling home again until Christmas Eve and his workshop will be open from 9am – 4pm every day for photos with the whole family (pets included!). Your session with Santa includes a 5×7 photo print and USB of all your pics.
Christmas Family Nights
It’s that time of year when the North Pole arrives at The Grounds! Santa and the Elves of Alexandria have some fun-filled nights planned for the little ones, so grab a sleigh and escape the pre-Christmas madness with a merry evening in The Garden!
Santa will be roaming through the event with his festive friends ready for photos and last minute present requests! We’ll have live entertainment, photo opportunities, dancing for the kids and food installations in the laneway.
Executive Chef Paul McGrath has brought some Christmas treats and put together a special menu for the night. Holiday drinks will also be available from the Garden Bar.

School holiday activities for kids
Summer’s sorted with our range of school holiday workshops at The Grounds!
We’re introducing dreamcatcher making classes and running candy & cookie decorating workshops with our experts throughout January. Our pizza and honey making classes are back again by popular demand and our team will be on hand to bring out your little ones green thumb. Find out more and book a School Holiday Workshop.
