Inner West Mums’ The Hustle Movie Fundraiser Success

Last Thursday 9 May Inner West Mums hosted a movie fundraiser at HOYTS Broadway, raising just over $1000 for the Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre which provides frontline health services for women in need.

The hilarious comedy, The Hustle, starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson, brought plenty of laughs and the whole evening had a warm, upbeat feel.

Inner West Mums founder, Anita Vitanova, said: ‘It was great to see so many women coming together to enjoy themselves and contribute to this very worthy cause. I especially loved seeing so many of our sponsors and ongoing supporters there. I was so touched that they made the effort to attend. Once again, I’m very proud of the way this group unites to support the wider community.’

Broadway Sydney supplied gift bags filled with a Woza Moya handmade sock toy from Africa, a beautiful multicoloured scarf from India and a lovely candle by Mr & Mrs Jones. There were eight lucky recipients of the door prizes, totalling more than $1800 in value, which were placed into random gift bags handed out after the film.
