Taronga Zoo is brimming with activities and new experiences this Autumn school holidays – here’s our round-up of the must-visit attractions this Easter break.

Koala on branch - Taronga Zoo

Nura Diya

Launching on 6 April and located at the top of the zoo, visitors can experience Nura Diya.Β Translating to β€˜this Country’ in the language of the Cammeraigal People who inhabited the land where the zoo is located, it’s an apt name for the new immersive habitat of native flora and fauna which will allow guests to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship First Nations people have with the land. Walk through the bushland setting where you might find a kangaroo or dingo hiding behind each leafy corner.

Up high, Nura Diya’s new canopy walk will wind its way through treetops so guests can get up close to Australia’s favourite sleepy marsupial, the koala.
